So, I'm finally off! I never thought I'd do a blog but its seems like the best way to let you all know that I'm FINE, and to share all the cool things about the places you wish I wouldn't go. Itinerary is Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, then Pakistan. Back mid-July. I promise to post as often as I can, and hope to hear from you guys too!

-sounds like you're having a great time. sheep nads sound quite disgusting, but then again we southerners have been known to eat chitlens. not me. but others.
do you carry that iraq picture around with you just in case?
I'm not following any of the soccer games so really don't know if the German guy is hot, has greasy hair, or is getting unwarrented wedgie picking camera attention. I'm guessing if you think he's hot, then I think he's a preppie.
Okay, i just googled both of them and have quickly realized that neither are hot. Perhaps I could grow to admire them if I watched tennis. Aren't there any ruggedly handsome guys?
miss you lots
ah tres,
i've been thinking of you lots while i've been here--it' be so much fun if we were here together! i see soccer balls hanging from roadside stalls--and they are already inflated! we surely would've made any driver screech to a halt for those babies. i wish you and our sister ricky could both come back to pak for a reunion and some breaching of security regulations.
I am sick of all this slack for Nadal. He's adorable. (But I'd still take Andy Roddick any day.) And,fine if you don't like #5 on Germany, but have you seen the whole stinkin' Sweeden team? Lordy.
hey Lady!
Just framin' away here. Good to hear your doing well and having fun. YES #5 is gorgeous! It would take A lot of vodka to even think of eating that stuff! In my geographically inept mind I had no idea where you were! And your grasp for languages is amazing! You look wonderful in the photos! Keep them coming if you can. I'll write when I can, but know I think of you daily. Lots of love to you. S.
fayne- i am so glad to see that you are spreading the lord's good word in MANY countries. god bless you, sister. but it would be nice to see a different hair style on you once every few years. is that too much to ask? oh well, at least you have hair.
i think that while you are there it would only be appropriate to amend the cheese cheer accordingly: "a hankering for a hunk of sheep testes. we lecture lots, when we eat sheep nuts, we never snooze, we wash 'em down w/ booze, we get the gonad, from a little shop in _______(could you help me out here?), the fluffy white masses at pasture, can never run any faster, you gotta, you gotta, pat it down with butta, you gotta, you gotta, try it while its hotta!"
it is the little things that you will miss most after you go. please keep me entertained as i plan to be at this stupid desk for quite some time. xoxxoox, miss & love you, sunga the button popper (not of the peyote origin).
ooh, sunga, that was a beaut!! I am laughing so hard. Mia, did you read that? So funny! Very impressive, bets.
