Diff'rent Strokes for Pakistani Folks?

Lower Mittekoat and Islamabad.
Going to Taxila tomorrow, the most significant archeological site in Pakistan. Its in the Punjab, which I just like the sound of. (Does any one remember Punjabi from Annie? They really do dress like that.) Anyway, the oldes parts of Taxila go back to 6th and 5th centuries BCE. And there some later areas of the site that were Buddhist sanctuaries. I'll put photos up tomorrow. What a weekend treat you guys are in for!

Car- Bear,
Can't wait to see picks of the archeological area. You are living a wonderful life woman! I am so proud of you. Enjoy it all, and hopefully I will see you and give you a big hug when you come home. You are stopping in Madison between your wild adventures, right? Oh, and you were missed at Kristi Jo's bridal shower. 70's theme. Tried to do Saturday Night Fever an failed miserably Though I guess it was supposed to be early hippie 70s. :) Oh well. thanks for making it possible so I can follow how you are doing.
lots of love,
Sarah

These photographs are very disconcerting when you realize these contrasts exist all over the world. I am still haunted by the photograph of the little boy, but smiled at the father and son holding hands. Move over Emerson!
of course, we remember Punjab- a large african man with a turban who dressed in all white who worked for a middle aged white billionaire in the united states-an absolutely ridiculous charactor that i loved when i was 6 years old. i had a life sized annie doll.
what are you doing now? there's been no entry in 2 days. how can i travel vicariously through you if there's nothing to go on????
are there mandarines there?
I remember Punjab from Annie. Is that weird?
Speaking of archeology, does anyone remember the name of the little asian kid in Indiana Jones Temple of Doom?
Just Another Racially Stereotypical Sidekick or J.A.R.S.S. for short. I hear they have a support group every tuesday and thursday night down at the Civic Center on Ventura Blvd if anyone needs help...recognizing you have a problem is the first step...
Keep up the good work...
